North County San Diego's Premier Drift Crew

Drove at Inland Drift today.

Today was Inland Drift’s first night event that was supposed to be from 5pm to Midnight. Unfortunately due to some issues, they had to close it down at 10:30.

Anyway, I got a lot of track time from 6:30-8:00pm. I finally killed off a set of tires I’ve been using for the past 5 events. Sadly, I had to end my night early because I punctured one of my new pair of tires on one of my runs around 10:00.

I had trouble adjusting to my new setup. Since I got the cage, I lowered my seating position and added a slight lean. Since my arms are kinda short, they are fully extended right now when trying to turn and it made it difficult for me to drift all day. I’m going to be picking up a deep dish steering wheel soon to space the wheel closer to my body. I literally felt like i was only in control today 50% of the time, lol.

Highlights of the day:
-The wall ate one S13
-I scraped the hell out of my front bumper from dragging it after it popped off
-Tandemed with Tommy and his miata.. sorta.. i was mostly 2-3 car lengths behind cuz I was scared of hitting him, haha.
-Daijiro Yoshihara brought out his FD car and did some kickass runs

Stretch also borrowed my camera to shoot some footage, but genius me decided to use an old tape to record over. When I captured the footage, it ended up with a lot of artifacts :(. These are the only runs I salvaged. Yes, I did suck that bad tandeming most of the night. Hey it was my first time, XD.

I’ll post pictures later if I find any.
